The Ideal Person
This is a new opportunity for an experienced Product Owner to join the Company as we enter an exciting phase of growth and who will translate the vision and roadmap of our products into tangible and deliverable packages of work. You will be highly skilled in communicating and prioritising project requirements with a very close-knit team. You will be excited by the product development within the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements
- Bridge the gap between the Development Team and Head of Product
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria
- Assist in defining the vision for the Team’s product
- Be responsible for sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
- Support Development Team requests
- Support the continuous evolution and improvement of Firemelon’s product development processes
Essential Criteria
- Educated to Degree level or equivalent
- 3 years + Product Owner or Business Analyst experience (preferably in a SaaS environment)
- A creative problem solver translating high level product requirements into quantitative solutions
- Experience of delivering B2B products to market
- Able to balance and prioritise workload, evolving needs and challenges whilst delivering a quality product in complex client environments
- An understanding of modern and current technology trends
Desirable Criteria
- Agile, LEAN or Business Analysis qualification
- Experience in a data + analytics or ecommerce product environment
- Experience of being involved in the development of a product roadmap
