The Role
As Senior Business Analyst, this role will require you to gain an in-depth understanding of our insurance software. You will be expected to work with both key stakeholders in the business and external clients to proactively and reactively identify improvements to the system. You will be responsible for formulating and documenting the business rules and architecture for any change and be able to present these in a way that both non-technical and technical audiences can fully understand. Reporting directly to the CEO, this person will be a key driver for improvements in the quality of the product, our service to clients and the processes of change management within the business.
Essential Criteria

3 years+ as a successful Business Analyst

A strong academic record including a third level degree, preferably in a business-related area

Experience in insurance, financial services or the travel industry

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Exceptional attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Willing to build valued relationships with both our clients and our teams in Firemelon
-
Strong drive to excel professionally, to guide and motivate others

Experience gathering, defining and documenting business and solution requirements for the introduction, enhancement, or replacement of systems

Experience analysing systems and procedures, process design and modelling, documenting ‘as is’ and ‘to be’ assessments for a target operating model

Experience in agile methodologies, user cases and working closely with the Product Owner

Experience with stakeholder management and working collaboratively with development and testing teams to deliver high quality solutions to meet client and user business needs

Experience completing business architecture reviews and defining business architecture strategies

Process design including workflows
Desirable Criteria:

Indepth knowledge of database systems

Reporting knowledge – Power BI etc
